Use Case
Get an alert with a screenshot and explanation the moment a rival changes their prices — without checking manually or writing a single line of code.
Who this is for
Alex runs growth at a twelve-person SaaS startup. He tracks four direct competitors. Every week he visits their pricing pages manually to check whether they have changed their plan structure, introduced a new tier, or quietly lowered prices to win deals. The process takes twenty minutes he does not have, and he has already missed two pricing changes that went unnoticed for several days.
What Alex needs is not another dashboard to check. He needs to be told when something changes — before a sales call, not after. With Chemeroid, he pastes each competitor’s pricing URL, writes a condition in plain language, and receives an email or Slack alert the next time the page content matches. The alert includes a screenshot of the page at the moment the change was detected, so he has visual proof to share with the team.
Alex now runs four Smart Frequent monitors — one per competitor — at the 15-minute check interval. Chemeroid handles the surveillance. Alex handles the response.
How it works
01
Any public pricing page works. Chemeroid visits it in a real browser, so JavaScript-rendered prices, plan tables, and dynamically loaded content are all evaluated correctly. No access to the competitor’s backend or API is required.
02
Describe what to watch for: “Alert me if any plan price changes,” “Notify me if a new plan tier appears,” or “Tell me if the word ‘enterprise’ appears in the pricing copy.” The AI reads the page on every check and decides whether your condition is currently true.
03
When the condition is met, Chemeroid sends you an alert via Email, Slack, SMS, or Discord. The alert includes an AI-written explanation of what changed and a screenshot of the page at detection time — ready to paste into a team chat or a competitive intel document.
Why Chemeroid
No integrations, no competitor access, no APIs. If the pricing page is publicly visible in a browser, Chemeroid can monitor it. This covers SaaS pricing pages, marketplace listings, and any other public product page.
Simple text-match tools miss pricing changes that involve new wording, currency formatting, or restructured tables. Chemeroid’s AI reads the page the same way a human would and evaluates meaning, not just the presence of a string.
Every alert includes a timestamped screenshot of the page at the moment the change was detected. You do not need to visit the page to confirm what changed — the evidence is in the notification.
FAQ
Yes. Chemeroid visits pages in a real browser environment and waits for JavaScript to execute before evaluating the content. Pricing pages that load prices via React, Vue, or other client-side frameworks are supported the same as static pages.
Smart Frequent monitors check every 15 minutes. The maximum time between a competitor updating their pricing page and you receiving an alert is 15 minutes. Daily monitors check once every 24 hours at a time you specify.
Yes. Each URL is a separate monitor, and you can create as many as your plan allows. The Pro plan supports four Smart Frequent monitors and six daily monitors, which covers most competitive monitoring setups.
Alerts fire only when your condition is true. If the page is checked and the price has not changed, no notification is sent. You hear from Chemeroid only when something actually matches the condition you wrote.
No credit card required. Set up your first monitor in under two minutes.
